Unified visa for GCC countries by 2014

Manama: Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC) plans to launch a unified visa for tourists visiting the region by mid-2014, aimed at simplifying travel formalities for the visitors.

Dhoti-clad Indian man not allowed in Dubai Metro

Dubai: A 67-year-old Indian visitor was stopped from entering the Dubai Metro, apparently for wearing a traditional Indian dress - dhoti.

Overweight Saudi man forklifted to hospital thanks to Monarch

        Riyadh : A young Saudi national who was suffering from extreme obesity, thanks to his staggering weight -610kilograms which is equivalent to 1,344 pounds,  was forklifted to a hospital on August 19, Monday for medical treatment to reduce his weight.
